Something not working, or a question about your subscription? Most answers are below. If yours isn’t, write to us.
Contact us
Email contact@keyping.app. We aim to reply within two working days.
It helps if you include:
- The email address you sign in with, or that you use Sign in with Apple
- The app version, shown at the bottom of the Account tab under About (for example ‘Keyping 1.0 (42)’)
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead
From the app, Account › Contact support opens an email to us with the app version already filled in.
Your subscription
Keyping is an auto-renewing subscription, billed by Apple through your Apple Account. It renews at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time, in either of two places:
- On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Keyping
- In the app, open the Account tab and tap Manage subscription
Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the app, or deleting your Keyping account, does not cancel your subscription: Apple keeps charging until you cancel it yourself.
Refunds
Apple handles all payments, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can’t issue refunds ourselves.
A new phone, or reinstalling
Sign in with the same account you used before (the same email, or Sign in with Apple with the same Apple Account). Your subscription, searches and saved homes come back with it.
If Keyping still shows as not subscribed, open the Account tab and tap Restore purchases. This looks for a Keyping subscription on the Apple Account signed in on that iPhone.
Your account
Signing in
Sign in with Continue with Apple, or enter your email and tap Email me a code. We send a six-digit code to that address to type into the app. There is no password.
If the code doesn’t arrive:
- Check your spam or junk folder
- Make sure the email address is spelled correctly
- Wait a minute, then tap Didn’t arrive? Send again. You can ask for a few codes an hour
Deleting your account
Open the Account tab, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account, then confirm. Everything that identifies you is erased and you are signed out. This cannot be undone. Our Privacy Policy explains what we keep and why.
No longer have the app? Email privacy@keyping.app from the address you sign in with and we’ll delete your account for you.
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it first, as described above, or Apple will keep charging you.
Searching together
The plan for two covers you and one other person: two phones, one plan, with every search, save and alert shared. On the Account tab, the Searching together card offers Get the plan for two if you don’t have it yet, or Invite someone once you do. An invite link works for 7 days, and only once. Their access lasts as long as your plan does. Either of you can tap Stop searching together on the same card; you each keep your own searches and saved homes.
